Didn't I tell you that you aren't allowed to grow while I'm gone? You're in trouble, little Miss! Just kidding...

Hey - since you've been doing this whole world war thing...are you learning roman numerals in school? Just wondering. What are you learning in school these days, anyways? Do you do things on the computer? Do you usually type your emails to me or does Daddy?

Another dust storm today...and it's hot here. It isn't even summer yet, but the temperatures are in the 90s and sometimes over 100. It isn't even May yet! And summer doesn't actually start until late June! Ack! I can't wait to get out of here.

I know that you don't want to hang in there, Sweetie, but you need to. Be strong. You are a strong, smart little girl. I know that you can get through this no problem. I know you can. You know something you can try doing? Whenever you wish that I was there, you can write it in a journal. You can write a letter to me, or you can just write about it in a journal. Whatever...just think about it, okay?
