How I'm doing

[This is actually from Sunday, but it didn't come through properly]

We named our band: It's the "Down & Dirty Praise Band." Pretty silly, huh?

I'll see if someone can record us one day so that I can send that to you. Today was our first service where we played for worship. People said it sounded good. We're all excited about that.

It's another dusty day here today. The wind is blowing strong, and that means that we can't see the sun because there is just so much dust in the air. It's kinda like a cloudy and foggy day, only instead of everything being a misty-white, everything is sort of orange colored and EVERYTHING gets very dusty and dirty.

Today is a relaxed day for me - I have afew things to do, but no big hurry to get them done. I've got plenty of time! I painted my toenails earlier - it's nice to have pretty toes even if I only get to see them when I'm changing clothes or taking a shower. I also put hair into a couple of braids-something a little different! I'm not allowed to let my hair hang down loose at any time, and sometimes I get tired of putting my up. But doing a couple of braids is a way to do things a little different.
